CZE Scalp Facial

The CZE scalp facial brings a new wave of hair care to Aotearoa – A next-generation treatment that mimics a skin facial in its deep cleansing, exfoliating and moisturising process for the scalp – boasting a range of benefits for hair and scalp health.

The CZE scalp facial comprises of the Silk Treatment Balm and Hair Oil with ingredients commonly found in quality skincare such as, Cacay Seed Oil, Kakadu Plum, Murumuru Seed Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Aloe Vera that are rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids that focus on building the overall health of the hair and scalp, reducing product build up, hydrating and nourishing the scalp and hair resulting in long lasting benefits.

The Scalp Facial Process:

Step 1: Pre-treat the scalp and hair.

First, prep the hair and scalp by combing from roots to ends using the Everyday Comb to detangle hair and loosen any natural debris or product build up.

Step 2: Massage the scalp.

Mix together a palm size amount of the Silk Treatment Balm and two to three drops of the Nourishing Perfume Oil. Apply evenly to the scalp and massage to activate scalp muscles and stimulate circulation. Start your massage at the nape of the neck, using both hands working your fingers up the head to the crown. You should spend about three to five minutes massaging the product into the scalp to soften skin cells, exfoliate, and remove debris. This will also help to encourage blood flow. Use the Everyday Comb to distribute product evenly through mids-ends of hair. Leave the treatment on for up to 30 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse and shampoo.

Once you have massaged your scalp, get in the shower and rinse out all the pre-treatment products. Then, follow with the Silk Wash applying directly to the scalp to activate all power-house ingredients revitalising the scalp. Rinse and repeat step 3.

Step 4: Apply conditioner.

Remove excess water from hair. Apply the Silk Condition to the scalp and hair. This will moisturise the scalp and hair while sealing/closing the cuticle to allow for smoother, shiner hair. Rinse well.

Step 5: Style

Lastly, choose desired CZE styling product. We recommend applying a small drop of the hair and body perfume oil to mids and ends as this is a lightweight leave in treatment. Followed by the Glossifying Mist to protect hair from heated styling tools and UV rays.
