We believe that unnecessary ingredients should not be in the products we put on our scalp and hair. Chloe worked closely with one of New Zealand’s leading chemists to carefully select ingredients that each serve a purpose to perform. The range focuses on using natural or naturally derived ingredients which continually work to build, strengthen, boost shine and improve body and manageability achieving long-term healthy hair. 

ABYSSINIAN OIL

Also offer exceptional benefits for all hair types. It produces a natural radiant luster and the oil glides onto the hair surface to form a very light continuous lipid layer which provides lubricity to help detangle and lock in essential moisture.

ALLANTOIN

Soothing the scalp. This naturally soothing, anti-irritating skin protectant would be amazing with just those three attributes, but it also has the ability to increase the water content in the skin (scalp), Scalp regeneration. Elasticity and soft hair. Reduces scalp flakes.

ALOE VERA

Famous for its cooling and calming properties, Aloe Vera leaf juice helps maintain moisture balance and is beneficial for soothing sensitivity and irritation.

Derived from Rapeseed Oil, it is a hair conditioning agent

CACAY SEED OIL

Recently touted as the new 'miracle' oil in skin & hair care. It is easily absorbed and rich in Vitamins A, E, and retinol. It is believed to contain three times more retinol than other popular anti-aging oils including Rosehip, and 50 percent more Vitamin E and linoeic acid than Argan oil. Provides shine, silkiness and protects hair from split ends

CETEARETH-20

A waxy surfactant where it encourages a stable emulsion for a well-blended cream product. Derived from vegetable oil and used to provide a lotion 'slip' feel for easy application

CUCUMBER SEED OIL

Oleic Acid and Omega 3 Linoleic Acid content the oil makes an excellent additive to products used for hair and skin moisturising. Oleic and Linoleic acids can be effective in treating dry scalp skin conditions, or sensitive skin.

CUPUACU SEED BUTTER

A close relative of Cocoa and of course chocolate! The natural 'butter' is obtained from the Centre of the large fruits. The butter is rich in phytosterols which benefit dry, damaged hair, polyphenols to combat free radicals and fatty acids to protect and moisturize. Combined, these properties offer restructuring benefits to the hair through improving the hair moisture barrier and giving deep hydration. Cupuacu butter can be considered as a plant-based alternative to lanolin, having the capacity to attract water allowing it to function much more effectively as a hair hydrator and plumper.

 

DEHYDROACETIC ACID & BENZYL ALCOHOL

A naturally certified and nature identical preservative in ecological and organic certified cosmetics, it is used for the gentle preservation of all personal care products.

DIHEPTYL SUCCINATE, CAPRYLOL GLYCERIN/SEBACIC ACID COPOLYMER

Acts as an emollient. It enhances shine and texture of hair as well. It is the “green and clean” alternative to cyclomethicone and dimethicone because it yields the feel, slip and sensory performance of silicone fluids. In natural formulations, it can be used to reduce the greasiness of natural oils. It is 100% natural, ecocertified and readily biodegradable.

HEMP SEED OIL

Natures Wonder oil', Hemp Seed Oil has no psychoactive properties and is able to be used in a wide variety of ways. It has an amazing natural ability to moisturise and condition the hair. Considered to have anti-inflammatory properties, with its essential fatty acids useful in assisting skin conditions. Regular users of hemp oil also report enjoying smoother, thicker, softer hair, and stronger nails.

HIBSICUS FLOWER EXTRACT

Well known to reduce “hair fall” Rich in vitamin C and amino acids, the flowers improve the blood circulation under the scalp to stimulate healthy hair growth.

Horsetail leaves are rich in the mineral Silica which is a major component of hair and nails

HYDROGENATED OLIVE OIL

Hydrogenation allows an oily liquid to remain in a solid state at room temperature. Hydrogenated olive oil is a rich source of antioxidants, and, as described, hydrogenating the oil changes it from its natural liquid state into a solid state.

HYDROLYSED SILK PROTEINS

Hydrolysed Silk Protein is obtained from the natural silk fibres from the cocoon of the silk worm (Bombyx mori). Polypeptides are chains of amino acids, the building blocks of proteins. Hydrolysed proteins are proteins that have been broken down into smaller chains of amino acids by reaction with water. This grade (90-120da) is ideal for hair care products. It conditions and strengthens hair whilst improving plasticity and manageability. Supports moisture levels and penetrates to the hair cortex to promote repair.

KAKADU PLUM SEED OIL

Kakadu plum is known for having the highest natural levels of vitamin C of any fruit in the world. This powerful antioxidant helps protect the hair from environmental damage.

LAURYL GLUCOSIDE

A gentle surfactant and detergent made from coconut oil the lauryl part and sugar the glucose part. Such alkyl glucosides biodegrade quickly, and tend to be gentle to the skin, and they work in hard water. 

MARSHMALLOW EXTRACT

High in plant proteins, marshmallow nourishes and thickens hair strands as well as promotes healthy hair growth. Regular use of this herb, will make your hair smoother and silkier, increase manageability, and restore luster and bounce.

MORINGA OIL

Behen oil, a name given to one of its most important constituents Behenic Acid. Behenic acid is used in hair conditioners and moisturizers to enhance their smoothing effect.

MULBERRY EXTRACT

Mulberries are rich in potent plant nutrients including Resveratrol, Beta-Carotene and Vitamins A, C and E to help create healthier hair, and rejuvenate your hair follicles for hair growth. 

NETTLE EXTRACT

Nettles are extremely nutritious, brimming with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. According to traditional use, they are especially beneficial for the hair and scalp.

PANTHENOL

Is a naturally-occurring material that adds several beneficial properties to hair care formulations. It is a humectant, emollient, glossifier, detangler and moisturizing agent.

PASSIONFLOWER OIL

Rich in linoleic acid, passion fruit oil has regenerative properties and is thus well suited for use on stressed as well as in anti-ageing hair care. It also contains carotenoids and phenols which help to give the oil hair-protective, antioxidative properties

SODIUM COCO-SULFATE

Sodium coco sulfate creates a rich foam and cleanses hair and skin. Its thorough action dissolves dirt and grease effectively. Made from the fatty acids of coconut oil, it's a good palm-free alternative to sodium lauryl sulfate and has a larger molecule to reduce irritation.

SODIUM HYALURONATE

Is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (carbohydrate) in the human body. It is produced from bi products of the bacterial fermentation of corn, wheat and yeast extracts. It is NOT of animal origin. Provides intensive hydration. Soothes the delicate scalps.

SWEET ALMOND OIL

Rich in protein, vitamin E and B vitamins, as well as essential minerals, and essential fatty acids. Almond oil has emollient properties, which gives it the ability to rejuvenate and soften the hair.

TSUBAKI JAPANESE CAMELLIA OIL

Has been used in Japan since the Edo period several hundred years ago. Well known locally as one of the beauty products used by the Geisha, it is now widely used for the skin and hair. Rich in both Oleic and Linoleic acid, Tsubaki oil is an effective emollient helping to nourish the skin and hair.

WATERMELON SEED OIL

Is a light, non-greasy oil, which is easily absorbed, high in linoleic and oleic acids. These essential acids are vital in restoring natural strength to the hair and provide moisturizing and protective benefits.
